We hold highly the banner, undertake the mission, dance with youth and follow the party’s spirit. On the evening of April 21, the 8th Campus Dance Competition of Dance with Youth and Follow the Party’s Spirit was held in the North Square of Graphic Building. Zhu Ping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Ma Yu, Vice President of the University and Huang Baoling, Vice President of the University, attended the competition. More than 4000 people watched the competition including Weng Yu, Director of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee, Mao Jiaming, President of the College of Marxism, Jin Jianping, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Officer, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch and Secretary of the Youth League Committee of each secondary college and representatives of teachers and students. The judges are Liu Sihua, Director of the Creative Department of Changzhou Song and Dance Troupe, Member of Changzhou Dancers Association, Deputy Secretary General and Choreographer of Zhonglou District Art Association, Shi Xinmeng, dance teacher of Changzhou Institute of Technology, and Meng Ying, dance teacher of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Engineering.

The seven teams came on stage one by one according to the order of drawing lots. In October, the College of Mechanical Engineering sincerely interprets the story of Party members who risked danger to secretly complete intelligence tasks in order to complete the revolutionary years; the Praising on the Red Boat in Misty Rains of the School of Information Engineering interprets the red boat breaking waves, gathering people's minds, dancing to stimulate youth and showing the prosperity of the motherland; Extraordinary Years of School of Mold Technology It tells a touching story that 18 G.A. of the National Revolutionary Army soldiers fight bravely to protect the people during the War of Resistance against Japan; Where I Grew Up by the School of Economics and Management has a magnificent melody, depicting the beautiful scenery of the motherland and conveyed the patriotic feelings of young students; the Red Memory of the School of Creative Design tells Party members are not afraid of sacrifice, and their dedication to the revolutionary cause; the School of Vehicle Engineering and the School of Rail Transit Red China wrote an immortal heroic epic, conveyed the great spirit of the Long March; the Yellow River by the School of Electrical Engineering combines the foundation of Chinese dance and the rhythm and skills of national folk dance, which is hardness and softness, and expresses the Chinese people's childlike feelings for the mother of the motherland.

Over the past two months, the students and instructors of non Dance Majors in secondary colleges have constantly polished their works and presented this audio-visual feast after hard training. The whole competition scene was magnificent. The students woven a magnificent and colorful beautiful picture scroll with gorgeous dance steps, and played a passionate hymn of the times for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party with hot youth.

After selected by the judges, the women's group dance Where I Grew Up selected by the School of Economics and Management won the first prize, the School of Mold Technology, the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Information Engineering won the second prize respectively, and the School of Creative Design, the School of Vehicle Engineering, the School of Rail Transit and the School of Electrical Engineering won the third prize respectively.
