Recently, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced the notice of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology on Naming the Foreign Expert Studio of Jiangsu Province in 2021 (JPDST Special Release [2021] No. 269), and the foreign expert studio declared by the Faculty of Economics and Management of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology was successfully selected. A total of 90 foreign expert studios were selected in the province, including 12 studios in Changzhou and 2 studios in our college. This selection is another breakthrough based on the approval of Changzhou foreign expert studio in October 2021.
The Faculty of Economics and Management has introduced Dr. Bernard J. Jansen, Chief Scientist of the Institute of Computing at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Qatar, Dr. J. Christopher Westland, Professor at the University of Illinois in the United States, Dr. Mohammed Atiquzzaman, Professor at the University of Oklahoma in the United States, and Jason Robert Long, founder of EIE (Embedded in Embedded) University Program, and other experts to participate in the professional development.They and other experts jointly set up the International Master Studio to and initially nurtured and formed a teaching and research platform with exemplary effect that integrates teacher training, scientific research, talent cultivation and achievement transformation. Relying on the national double-high construction plan and the provincial high-level professional group construction, foreign experts actively participate in the construction and talent training of cross-border e-commerce, e-commerce, computer network technology and other majors, and give online and offline lectures for many times, and Participated in the construction and achievement transformation projects of high-level scientific research platforms such as the Institute of intelligent manufacturing industry economics, the key research base of philosophy and Social Sciences in Jiangsu Universities, guided young teachers to publish high-level papers in SCI/SSCI journals, provided substantial exchange projects for Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology among international famous colleges and universities and research institutions, and also made positive contributions to the successful establishment of the Excellent Major for International Talent Training in Jiangsu Colleges and Universities.
The foreign expert studio system is an important measure to implement the relevant deployment requirements of the current national and Jiangsu talent work. The Faculty of Economics and Management will take the opportunity of being approved as the foreign expert studio of Jiangsu Province to further innovate the working mechanism of foreign experts, give full play to the positive role of foreign experts in the process of internationalization of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology, and provide new strength for the double high construction of our school.
