In order to further improve the educational and teaching abilities of our teachers, expand the innovative ideas of teaching and broaden international vision, the Teacher Development Center and the International Department held an online training for international teachers from Denmark on November 12. The training session, with the theme of modern vocational training and teaching, lasts for five days and is organized by the Technical Education Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark (TEC: Teknisk Erhvervsskole Center)). And more than 50 teachers from our college participated in this training program.
This training program is the first international teacher training program conducted by our college under the epidemic. The Technical Education Institute in Copenhagen (TEC: Teknisk Erhvervsskole Center), which undertook this training, is the largest vocational institution in Denmark with 4 major campuses and it is also an important member of the Danish Consortium for Academic and Technical Vocational Education (DCAC). It has experience in international cooperation and strong training capabilities in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical automation, artificial intelligence, industrial design, automotive technology, and wind and PV hybrid technology. Denmark's vocational education is a dual-track system, and the teaching idea of combining theory with practice is carried out in all aspects of education and teaching, especially its CIE innovative teaching model has strong significance in training students' creative thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship shaping.
During the online course, through the real teaching examples, flexible teaching methods, frequent online interaction and discussions between both sides, Danish teachers made the learning effect deepen and strengthen, and in the meantime, the teachers participating in the training responded well.
