Recently, Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau released the notification of the approval of the fifth batch of Changzhou Foreign Experts Studio, and two foreign experts studios led by the Faculty of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Creative Design of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology were successfully approved.
The Faculty of Economics and Management has introduced Dr. Bernard J. Jansen, Chief Scientist of the Institute of Computing at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Qatar, Dr. J. Christopher Westland, Professor at the University of Illinois in the United States, Dr. Mohammed Atiquzzaman, Professor at the University of Oklahoma in the United States, and Jason Robert Long, founder of EIE (Embedded in Embedded) University Program, and other experts to participate in the professional development.They and other experts jointly set up the International Master Studio to participate in the construction of the major, regularly guide the teaching and research work of the major teachers, build a platform for the teachers to participate in international projects, and improve the comprehensive strength and internationalization of the e-business major.
The Faculty of Creative Design relies on the cooperation with the Danish Academic Union for Vocational Education (DCAC) and the Technical Education Institute (TEC) in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is led by expert Camilla Arp to form an expert studio, taking our industrial design major as the entry point to enhance the comprehensive international cooperation of the Faculty of Creative Design.
The establishment of Foreign Experts studio is an important measure to innovate the working mechanism of foreign experts and promote the efficient and sustainable development of foreign experts' work, which provides an important guarantee for foreign experts to carry out scientific research and innovation, technical research and transformation of achievements, and will be conducive to giving full play to the active role of foreign experts in the process of internationalization of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology.
